Biography
Fernando was born in Trujillo, Perú and began studying music at early age at the Regional Conservatory of Music "Carlos Valderrama" in the Trumpet specialty. He later in the superior section continued studied Composition and musical arrangement studying under teacher David Martinez Apellaniz.
Their works have been performed by Symphony Orchestra of Trujillo and the Orchestra of The Regional Conservatory of Music "Carlos Valderrama"
Furthermore his chamber music has been performed in many auditions, in March of 2004 the Thelema Trio performed in Belgium the piece "Asimétricos Extramuros", in Italia played the piece "El Norte del Sur" (based on traditional Peruvian dance called marinera ) as European premiere and performed in September in the Fringe-concerten Zeeuwsch-Vlaanderen (Holland) as well in November in the II Festival of Contemporary Music in Lima, Perú.
In june of 2008 Federico Palacios performed in Grecia the piece "Truxillo" for clarinet and piano in the I Festival International Clarinet Atenas 2008
At this moment he is teaching music theory and composition in the superior section and music theory in the preparatory section at the Regional Conservatory of Music "Carlos Valderrama".
